In my school, I had a subject ‘Health, Population and Environment’. The only thing I did was study the course content and wonder why I was studying all those stuff. Never did I try to visualize the practical importance of that 40-minute-daily lecture. Even after schooling I would have never developed interest in environmental issues had I not done a project on Vermicomposting. Throughout the project, I had a chance to interact with the general public. I was really impressed with the uneducated people’s concern on the protection of our earth. One way I was ashamed but the other way, I dramatically changed. I began feeling an inclination to work for the protection of environment. That spirit drove me next year to do a project on ‘Organic Farming’. With the demonstration of that project, my dedication to work in environmental field doubled. After a 2-year voluntary work with Kathmandu Forestry College, it tripled and quadrupled.The dedication is reaching its tip ………………………….

A life without cause is a life without effect. I am happy that I have found the cause to live.
